Morgan Jenkins journey of finding her roots was expiring. As a Black American of slave ancestry, I am often left with no answers to the many questions about my ancestors. I was beautiful to watch Jenkins take charge and find out all that she can about her relatives who are no longer on the earthly plane. I am my family's historian and has been incredibly important to me to trace by my family and relatives. I've been doing it for over 12 years. This book gave me so much hope. I wish I had the coins to travel to where my ancestors traveled.
