This is an enjoyable little cozy mystery by a Filipino author. She incorporates a lot of her culture into the book and as well as ample food descriptions. It’s really descriptions of yummy food with a side of mystery. 

I’m new to this genre and really prefer thrillers, but this book held my attention with great characters and just enough plot.
