This title starts off the Inn Boonsboro series. We all had a first love, even if the receiver wasn’t aware of it. Becket fell in love with the girl down the street, and now he has a chance to make something happen after all these years. Clare and Beckett are working with the rest if the Montgomery clan to fix up and reopen the Boonsboro. This is a charming story but the ghosts could have been left out. If you want to write a cozy romance, then write one. If you want to have a ghost story then have at it. But why do the two need to meet. The story is nice, but will turn off many readers who do not like the supernatural elements.
