Bourbon Promises by Walker Rose
5.0

If you’re into accidental Vegas marriages, fake relationship tropes, and slow burn falling for real, this book is EVERYTHING. Walker Rose just keeps blessing us, and I am NOT okay.

One wild weekend in Vegas + one wealthy, devastatingly handsome CEO + one small town school teacher = the most chaotic and swoony ride ever. Gideon James isn’t just a random stranger; he’s a link to Autumn’s Montana roots and the key to saving her family’s land. Cue the fake newlywed shenanigans, shared goals, and… you guessed it, undeniable sparks.

Fake marriage, opposites attract, grumpy/sunshine vibes, and "we’ll end this eventually" denial that had me screaming! Gideon James is suave, broody, and surprisingly soft under all that CEO polish. The way he grows to adore her? Seriously perfection. Small town charm meets Vegas glam: The setting shifts were perfection—one minute, glitzy Vegas drama, the next, cozy Montana feels.
The chemistry was done really well and the tension is palpable. It builds and builds until you just KNOW there’s no faking this anymore. Beneath all the bourbon deals and playful bickering, this story is about family, trust, and finding love in the most unexpected places.

This book is for anyone who loves tropes done RIGHT, a balance of humor and heart, and a perect MMC who gives "I’d do anything for her" energy. Walker Rose has officially made this series a fave for me and it just keeps getting better and better!
