When I started this book I did not realize it was a spin off from Penelope Black’s other series. However, I am not sure that really matters. Yes there is a connection between the series but not a great focus. I enjoyed this book, I liked the sassiness of Coraline and the smirk of Jasper. There were some things that threw me off a little but I glossed over. I feel like the fake dating was a little far fetched but when you think of it I feel that was just both their ways to get back to each other. 

As the book went on I got more into it and was waiting to see what would happen with these characters that were a little fishy. I can say I had to look up erotomanic because I have never heard of it before so thanks for that. I gave this book 4.5 ⭐️ and 2.25 🌶️ there was some scenes the exhibitionism they both enjoy is 🥵. Since this is the first in the series I can not wait to see where the rest of the series goes and now I must go back because I read her cousin has a harem. I am here for a why choose book now.
