Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy by Robin Wasserman, Sarah Rees Brennan, Cassandra Clare, Maureen Johnson
4.0

Uhm. Wow.

So, I didn't expect to love this, because The Bane Chronicles wasn't exactly a book I enjoyed. I thought, maybe these kind of books - short story collections - aren't for me.

But I was proven wrong. I really enjoyed this book! Of course some story more than another, but unlike The Bane Chronicles, this book did have somewhat the same plot the entire book. And the stories had a purpose. It didn't feel like random useless stories put together.

Once again, Cassandra knows how to break my heart. The second I started Angels Twice Descending, I had a feeling George wouldn't survive. And sadly I was correct. I absolutely adored George, and I was heartbroken that he died.

I also fell more in love with the characters. Any time a character made an appearance, my cheeks hurt from smiling (especially Jem and Tessa, I love them so much!)

Before this book, I didn't care much about Caterina. But now? I love her.

Here are my ratings for each story separately:
Welcome To The Shadowhunter Academy 5/5
The Lost Herondale 4/5
The Whitechapel Friend 5/5
Nothing But Shadows 5/5
The Evil We Love 2/5
Pale Kings and Princes 4/5
Bitter of Tongue 4/5
The Fiery Trial 3/5
Born to Endless Nights 4/5
Angels Twice Descending 5/5
