Sex and Vanity by Kevin Kwan
2.0
slow-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Plot
Strong character development: No
Loveable characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

The plot was so slow and all the characters were unlikable. As soon as the main character starts to redeem herself, she falls back into being terrible.
She accuses her supposed loved interest of sexual assault and stalking, and the book writes it off like a silly mistake and is never brought up again.
The physical connection between the pair was clear (the book could have used more of that and less boring parties or gossip about people inconsequential to the story) but their actual love for each other was completely unbelievable.
