I wasn't sure when I started this how it would compare to the first two books as it is the only one not set within the Scholomance. Thankfully it didn't take too long for me to be as gripped as I was with both of the other books.

It's maybe a slightly uneven book, there were parts I wasn't keen on and other parts that were among the strongest moments in the whole trilogy. Overall though it was a strong ending to the series and I can't wait to see what Novik writes next.
