I admit it took me a while to read this -fairly short- book, but I blame it on the way it transported me to a childhood reading under the blankets with a lantern when I should’ve been asleep. It felt secret and whimsical and like something that deeply touched me but I can’t comprehend why yet - maybe when I grow up? I wish I could keep reading small journey entries every night before bed but all good things must end, I guess.
