I will usually enjoy a quick novella but not this one. Emma was incredibly likeable. None of the conflicts felt fully flushed out, they just seemed to get sprinkled in. Parts of the book also felt very similar to the author's most recent release, The Bear, so even parts of the plot felt a bit repetitive. I'm not sure why some of the other couples were sprinkled in if we either aren't going to get their story or if they were suddenly no longer a couple. I think more than anything the number of edits needed was the final straw for me.
