I tried. I feel like the author was rewriting his first book and trying to hard to bring more of the nostalgia he had in the first one. It didn't work well. Maybe if I stuck around longer there would have been character development or a differentiation in plot but after listening to the audiobook for almost 5hrs I couldn't do it anymore.
