lighthearted slow-paced

Thank you Canelo and Love Book Tours for the gifted ebook of The Gingerbread Christmas Village!  All opinions in this review are my own.

This was about a romance between a single mom of two and a traveller.  I didn't find it to be overly holiday-themed until the end but it was a good read for November when we are just getting started with the holiday season!

While the conservation and environmental element was a great addition, it did seem like the primary focus at times, especially when you are waiting for Harriet to find out that Owen is writing his blog series about her.  I wanted more about their relationship and less about the boot sales.  Owen and Harriet fall hard for each other and even sometimes read like two teenagers.
