I listened to this book on my Libby app in audio form. I hadn't really heard of the book before, I just searched what was available and borrowed a book that sounded good. I was not disappointed. What a poignant tale of loss and learning to move on. Letting go is difficult in even the most normal of situations, but Rin's situation surpasses that and she struggles to move forward with her life. Zander is also struggling, but I feel like his problems are more every day than Rin's. Yet the two seem to understand each other. There is definitely a sort of slow burn there that was pulling me along to see what would end up happening with those two. I liked the additional characters of Troy and Siri. And I feel like the whole story was leading to Rin opening up and letting people in. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to friends. I will be on the watch for other books by this author.
