This is book 2 in the duet and you will need to read book 1 in order for everything that happened in this book. This picks up right where book 1 left off.

I loved that we got more on Phoenix in the first few chapters, I really enjoyed seeing what was going on with him with his thoughts as well as where he stood with McKenzie. 

I loved these two and their connection and chemistry. Nix was so protective and obsessed with her. They both have suffered some really horrible things but the love that they have for each other really helps heal themselves and have their love grow stronger.
