This is book 2 in the card nerds series, this time one of the other friends from the group who couldn't make the trip last time runs into the former best friend whom he had a huge crush on back in early high school, but then dude turned into a jock and a bully. Now, it turns out the Mr. Jock needs Card Boy's help to find some rare cards to replace the ones of his brother's he stupidly lost in a bet before realizing how valuable they were. They spend more and more time together and learn about what they missed in each other's lives as they hunt for the cards. I enjoyed this story too, maybe more than the first one but hard to say. I think in the moment both were five star reads because of the feelings they left me with during and after reading, but based on my scale where five means I'll definitely reread it again, they prob should both be 4s.
