I'm torn, one hand I really enjoyed this book and on the other I was a bit disappointed. I think maybe I had such high hopes after the first one that I was let down a bit. 

With everything that Rafael had gone through with The Island I really thought it would be talked about a little bit more but it was only really the last 15-20% that we got more details about the past.

The way everything was kinda bad glossed over was a bit frustrating at times. I understand both men had trauma and issues but I feel as if there wasn't much depth to them until the very end. 

This was definitely heavy smut filled. It was spicccccy for sure but it was really good and detailed with each scene.

Now that The Collector was taken out, which was long and painful and just what that awful man deserved, I'm not sure where the story will go and if we'll get more in this world or not.
