I took way to long too wait to read this book. I read book number one years ago, but as habit, rarely read the sequels. After seeing the movie City of Bones, it put me in mind to read the next book, and I am irritated that I waited so long. This is a beloved series and I see why. Jace and Clary have a complicated non-history, a crazy in a bad way family, and let’s not forget vampires, werewolves, and shadow hunters. With a cast of characters and excellent writing that keeps the pages turning, I will NOT be waiting so long to pick up book 3.
