There’s no fair way to rate what amounts to a self-read memoir that (especially in an audio edition) brings the listener into such close proximity and intimacy with the waves of human failings and tryings.

That grieving, addiction, family relationships, friendship and faith take up our attention through the lens of a sort of wry self deprecating humor makes it all the easier to be in this small, short personal place of shared humanity and feel the better off for it .
