Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia
4.0

When I first picked up this book I was fascinated by it as I somehow was able to relate to Eliza. She was heavily introverted and... well so am I. However, I soon found out that her introversion is way stronger than mine. I truly like Eliza, even though she sometimes acts younger than her age (however that's understandable in my opinion as all the things she went through were new to here so it fit). I think her story is inspirational and sets a good example that sometimes it's good to go towards people. To get to know others and to take chances.

I really enjoyed the story. It was easy to read which for me was really great as I just got back into reading. Some description felt a bit cringey (for example when Eliza described that she was sitting so close to Wallace that she could see his eyelashes touch his cheeks) but that wasn't too bad in my opinion. In the end I really enjoyed it, which kinda showed in how fast I wen through it. The story truly captivated me.

Also amazing artwork in it!!!!
