The conclusion to the Bill Hodges detective thriller trilogy was an exciting ride, my favorite of the series so far. I appreciate King's decision to mix some paranormal horror-y elements into what was previously a pretty realistic detective story. He's definitely one for making the story bend to his vision for it, a trait I admire even when some moments it makes the story feel contrived. This book hit all the right notes, as expected, good pacing and the best characters.
