3.5, close to 4 but I couldn't quite get there. An imaginative romp that somehow brings together technology and books in a way that works. The next time there's a book vs. e-reader debate on Reddit (r/books is rife with them) I'm shoving this in someone's e-face.

On a slightly different note, I must have a completely different idea of what fantasy encompasses, if the number of readers shelving this as fantasy is anything to go by.
