Rock Hard by Olivia Cunning
4.0

Even though I just read the series last year I decided to reread the Sinners on Tour series again this year. That is how obsessed with it I am. I did do a review of the series but figured it was time to give each book its own proper review. When I reread Backstage Pass (the first in the series), I fell in love with it all over again. I devoured the book and could not wait to move on to Rock Hard. I guess I could blame it on being a reread but I did not love Rock Hard as much as I thought I did.

Sed and Jessica’s story did not grab my attention as much as I anticipated it would again. Their past breakup was ugly but when they finally run into each other again it is more feelings than anger and hurt are at play. They have a complicated relationship due to their stubborn personalities but they sure know how to get along in the bedroom. Is that enough to keep them together or are they bound to screw everything up for themselves? A lot of head shaking was involved while reading this. I just wanted to tell the characters to stop sabotaging themselves and it got a little old.

I could not get enough of Brian and Myrna in Backstage Pass but that was not the case with Sed and Jessica in Rock Hard. After a while, I was just sort of over them and wanted to get to the end. There were definitely still high points to this book. There was still a lot of love, passion, suspense, and excitement surrounding the whole band. I am still looking forward to reading the rest of the books again. I hope that I still love them as much as I did the first time.
