This book was good, sad but good. Simon needs to pull his head out of his depressive ass, but am I surprised?? no! I like a little angst in a ship, so the alternating POVs of Simon and Baz sadly pining were great for me. This book made me sympathize too much with vampires to side with Penny and Simon and I’m not sure if that’s the goal? It also made me hate Penny&Simon for a bit because Shepard was so nice and they were needlessly rude. Hoping he’s in book 3, because I liked him a lot. Hoping Baz learns self control and isn’t afraid to take a bite out of Simon (´∀｀）
