This was probably my most anticipated book of the year and it did not disappoint. I waited so long for Lucian and Sloane's story and all I wanted to know was what happened between them, and to see if all of that delicious tension would pay off. IT TOTALLY DID. First, let me say that I was definitely intimidated by the nearly 650 pages that this book was. But I was so into it that it flew by and by the end, I just wanted more. I just loved Lucian and Sloane's relationship and how we got to really know the history and the backstory between these two. I loved seeing all of the characters from the previous books and how they were woven into the story. The spicy scenes? They were SO HOT. It was everything I dreamed of and more. Sloane was just as badass as I knew she would be, and Lucian was not the bad guy we all thought he was. He so caring and romantic and the way he's so feral for Sloane just made me swoon. I just loved seeing all of the other characters and getting their endings, like Waylay, Stefan, Jeremiah, Lina, Nah, Knox and Noami. I truly couldn't have asked for a better ending to a series I love so much.
