What an interesting book and experience. This book is very short, takes place during a 24 or so hour period and revolves around a man whose gay partner/ boyfriend recently passed away. Being that it is such a short period and does not have a strong/ clear climax, it feels somewhat similar to Catcher in the Rye, though perhaps more mature in tone/ narration. The book definitely makes you think about the human condition and gives no clear answers as to the solutions of life’s problems. It was intriguing yet painful and lovely. Some points were weaker than others though I’d still recommend it.
