Wow... Just wow.
I can't believe I never read a Sarah J. Maas book before this! The world she created was so beautiful and dark and I loved every second of it!
I absolutely adored the characters! I have a tendency to dislike bristly characters *cough* Feyre *cough* but I found myself being understanding in this case, I don't know what it was. Maybe something about the writing that made me react differently.
The story itself was brilliant. Honestly, if I didn't know it was a Beauty and the Beast retelling I might have missed the signs. Knowing that it was I was able to pick up on all the similarities easily.
Overall, it was a fantastic book! I can't wait for the next one and I can't wait to read the Throne of Glass series now!
