Life and Death: Twilight Reimagined
by Stephenie Meyer
I tried rereading twilight last year and I couldn't make it through it. Now I loved twilight when I first read It, I was a massive twihard back in the day and the series will forever hold a special place in my heart. But I just found Bella so...bratty in my reread I couldn't continue.
Life and Death was SO much better.
I related to Beau so much more (maybe because I'm a guy?) But he felt so much more than Bella genderswapped. He felt like his own character entirely and so did Edythe. While I was aware it was essentially Twilight, it did feel like an entire different story. The change in conversations and how some bits in the plot where changed (like how the conversation when Beau tells Edythe she knows happens in the car on the way back from Port Angeles instead of in the forest.
I enjoyed the ending aswell, how it was like breaking dawn but different and honestly I feel that's how twilight should have ended.
Absolutly loved this book. It was such a joy to return to the world of Twilight.
