The Witches of Bone Hill by Ava Morgyn
3.0

Thank you to Ava Morgyn, St. Martin's Griffin, and NetGalley for an ARC of "The Witches of Bone Hill" in exchange for my honest review.

Cordelia and Eustace are estranged sisters who inherit an estate in Connecticut from a recently deceased great aunt who they did not know existed. Cordelia and Eustace's mother was always moving around and never spoke of her family. Unfortunately, their mother's death was unexpected and had "creepy" unexplained elements. The sisters soon realize that inheriting the estate comes with a dynasty trust controlled by the family's attorney. Throw in a lot more "creepy" and some romance and you have a good "spooky" book for the fall season.

Overall, the book was good. There were some slow parts of the book that keep me wondering if I wanted to continue reading. I liked the main characters but felt the character development was off at times. The ending felt rushed to me and thought there could have been better explanation about the history of the family and then what happened afterwards...maybe it will be a series.
