📖 Alexandrea moves to California to start school and moves in with her much older half sister, who is a bit unhinged. On her first day of class she meets the man who will her undoing — Dean Powers, a 6’4” hot as sin man with eyes that look right into her soul and a dimple that means nothing but mischief. She feels an instant and electric attraction between them, but he’s not only her professor, he’s also her sister’s ex. Brett has always had his mind focused on one thing — his work. He has enjoyed the company of many women, but not to the point of distraction, and certainly not to keep around for any long period of time. He’s up for head Dean and is being vetted, but there’s nothing to find. He’s never broken the most important rule: never sleep with a student. Until Alexandrea… Chasing an adrenaline rush has always kept him feeling alive, but it feels like more than just the forbidden with her. How long can they keep this relationship a secret? Is it really just the attraction and hot sex, or is it more? And will they choose each other at the end?

Ooo baby, Brett Powers, or should I say Dean Powers, is one sexy man. I loved him from the start. He was domineering but also tender, an intuitive alpha who took care of Alexandrea. The forbidden aspect of their relationship and it’s taboo nature was hot, and is total lack of care made me love him even more. Alexandrea was sweet and somewhat innocent but not in an annoying way. She was ready to experience everything Brett had to offer! I was kind of expecting more drama at the end of the book but I was pleasantly surprised that it shook out a little differently.

🎧 This audio was in duet narration, which is always such a dream to listen to. This was my first time listening to Corvin and wow, just wow. His voice is sexy and such a good fit for a smoking hot, Cali surfer boy professor. I will be finding more audiobooks narrated by him ASAP! This was also my first time listening to Angelica, and she also blew me away with how well she fit our FMC, Alexandrea. This was a supreme audio experience and it made me love the book even more. This is a must listen!
