A Thousand Beginnings and Endings by Elsie Chapman, Ellen Oh

3.5 stars. I'm really not good with anthologies. Especially not ones with this many stories. I did enjoy it more when I started listening to the audio book. It heightens the storytelling element of this collection. Otherwise, this is just another example of me losing interest because the stories end. It feels more like reading several books instead of one. But that's how anthologies feel to me not a fault of this one's.

My fave was probably the one about the girl who's mother passed away and then her soul got stuck in the video game. It was the most fleshed out and unique interpretation. I also appreciated all the south Asian stories since I have been exposed to those the least. All of the writing was great. I would check out full books from each of these authors.
