I really loved the setting of this thriller and that is what made me pick up this book. However, I found Elin, the main protagonist to be such a pain.
Even when her entire backstory was revealed I didn’t buy it. I didn’t enjoy watching her bumble through this entire book. She is meant to be a trained detective and yet she comes across as an amateur. Perhaps that was the intention, not sure.
However, having said that I think this is a decent enough thriller to spend an afternoon with.
