The 7½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle
by Stuart Turton
A wild ride. So many twists and turns and secrets hidden. An excellent take on the classic murder mystery with a fresh twist. In fact, it’s kind of hard to keep track of all the different people. (There was one point where the MC realized something and I read the line about 10 times trying to figure out what he meant. I still don’t know, but I’m forgiving the book of that.) A wonderful read. Fully deserves each of those stars - and more if I could give them.
+2 stars for the sheer ingenuity of it all, +2 stars for a well written mystery, +1 star for surprising me, +10000000 stars because I just love this book.
