Soul Eater
by Lily Mayne
"See him. See him. And when finally I did, I knew him instantly. When I saw him, I recognized him straight away. Even if his face wasn’t yet familiar to me. He was mine. He was everything."
We love a good monster romance.. or at least I do!
Wyn, the Soul Eater.
I will say I did not expect this at all when I started this book. The apprehension, the slow burn, the angst. It all builds up to something that turns into something so big that I never ever expected.
Danny Sullihan. Military soldier..or is he?
I was surprised by him numerous times throughout. His fear, his apprehension when it came to Wyn, his insecurity, he was simply intriguing to me. Until I understood him.
There were/are places where the trigger warning comes into play and phew am I glad that that was there at the start because yeah it is needed.
The rough parts are simply that, rough.
Tearing up then eventually crying while reading a monster book has never happened to me before but never say never when reading. This one will just pull it from you.
Lily is a new author for me and I am diving head first into this series and I cannot wait!
Now to jump into Edin because I have to know more about the purple monster we meet in this book.
