I’ve read and enjoyed this author before, so this was one I was definitely excited to read from this series. And it is probably my favorite so far! The family dynamic was fun, and I kind of figured out her sister’s issue early, but not the exact reasons. The way that whole thing played out was very good in how it kept the tension up in several ways. I liked the connection between the two main characters, and loved both of their personalities. The tattoo shop aspect of Daphne’s life was great, made me want to go back and read the Marked Men series by Jay Crownover. One funny bit happened when she mentioned what book the Meet Cute Book Club was reading and it was an A.M. Williams sports romance. I don’t remember now exactly what they mentioned when they discussed it, but I’ve read one or two of her baseball romances too. My one complaint right now? The cover, why doesn’t the woman on the cover have any tattoos?
