I finally read this book (and watched the show) because of Crash Course Literature ( https://youtu.be/PubyDwbNqYA ) telling me that it's exactly the sort of book I love! Thankfully, it was!

I actually kept putting this book down, though, because with our current political climate it seems like too many humans that I know (personally know, mind you) would see this type of society as a goal rather than a negative. It disconcerting to say the least.
