At this point, I should just assume that books by Ruta Sepetys will make me sob.
Seriously. I was crying for the last, like, 50 pages. The story starts off a little confusing, but not in a way that just puzzles you in an annoying way. The four narrators offered different perspectives on the events that the story is even more captivating than Between Shades of Gray or Out of the Easy, because you have even more characters to fall in love with, root for, despise, or cry for. Like, seriously cry. I cannot express how important this book is. Your next actions: If you haven't already, BUY THIS BOOK. Read it. Probably cry a lot. Finish it and stare off into the distance for a while, contemplating history. Praise Ruta Sepetys for her amazing talent.
