I absolutely loved Go Hex Yourself, which is the first book in the Hex series by Jessica Clare, so I was really looking forward to the second installment. It was just as good, if not better, than the first book! I loved returning to the fun and adventure packed world of magic and spells and familiars, and romance! This book features a grumpy/sunshine couple, fake dating, enemies to lovers, forced proximity and a good amount of spice, whew! I loved Penny and Willem together and how Penny brought Willem out of his shell and showed him that he could have a real life and love, and how Willem was so soft and kind with Penny, showing her how magic could be. I also loved getting to see Ben and Reggie again from Go Hex Yourself. I loved the fun and adventure and mystery and suspense in this one, and I seriously couldn't stop reading this because I was just so intrigued and couldn't wait to see what happened next. I highly recommend checking this series out; you won't be disappointed!
