This was a very cute addition to the Daughter of Smoke and Bone series. I loved getting to see how Zuzana and Mik finally ended up talking to each other and how their relationship started. I loved the element of magic and how quick Mik was to believe it was magic and not just a trick. I loved their relationship in the rest of the series, so it was very satisfying to see where they began.
