I literally bought this book because I saw it all over TikTok but had no idea what it was about. I didn’t even read the description, so it was a fun surprise that I loved. It was like reading a telenovela set in on a fictional French island in the 18th century. It had everything I could ever want and I can’t wait for the sequel to be delivered so I can read that one as well!
