You and Me on Vacation is a light-hearted, sweet summer read. I chose this book as part of a reading challenge, but I would recommend to anyone looking for a holiday read (especially somewhere hot!) Our protagonists, Poppy and Alex, are highly loveable and funny, which makes this my favourite Emily Henry book so far. The frequent cultural references, modes of interaction, and witty dialogue written by Emily Henry is what makes her books so naturally amusing to many young people. The steamy scenes were not overly explicit, the challenge/threat to the romance was not too distressing, making this a non-challenging peaceful read for a sunny day.  Romance is not my favourite genre, but I will pick up an Emily Henry book or a friends-to-lovers any day, for a smile.
