First half was 5 stars. I also enjoyed the meta-ness of narrator.
The reason it is 4 has to do with the creative loophole ending mainly. The ending all felt a little easy at times. I had a feeling with the way it was building up to the end over these 3 books that if it tried to get away with the ending promised it would feel cheated. And I kind of did think it was. (It's not a new thing, Jay does it in a lot of his novels). I was just hoping this would be left as promised.
There were a great many other things I loved and others I didn't quite like as much however, it was still a great conclusion to a trilogy.
