This was my first book by Sloane St. James and I am now obsessed with this series. I can’t wait to read the rest of this series. I’m series going to cancel all plans and binge them. In this book we mean Birdie and Lonan. They were childhood friends but Birdie was kidnapped as a young child and returns as an adult. The FMC is relatable in her insecurities and vulnerability. Lonan gave off “it’s always been you energy” and I was totally there for it. What a great start to a series. Very excited to read Mickey’s story in book 2. I like the side characters and look forward to reading their stories.
