Just What I Needed
by Kylie Scott, Kylie Scott
I always love getting to go back to the world of the Stage Dive band created by Kylie Scott. While there was NOT enough Mal in this one, until the end, lol, I really did enjoy it! Getting to see Dean again after his unlucky turn with Lena in Lead, was something I was happy about. While he had a little bit of time in Ben’s book, Deep, that one made me not as much a fan. So it was nice to get his story and let him have his own HEA.
I liked Jude, she was funny with her crush on Jimmy, and I loved how she and Dean connected finally. I liked how Dean dealt with his exes, and there was one scene where while I understood exactly why he was doing what made Jude upset, I could also see how to her it felt the way it did. A fun short trip back into one of my favorite fictional worlds!
