I think this book is overhyped.

I read this because everyone was going on about it being one of the best books written in its year. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, I found it very enjoyable, however, it did not blow me away like I was expecting.

The author is a good writer and I would be interested in checking out more of her works. This book was also very well researched from what I can tell, but I don't claim to be an expert on any of these subjects.

I was expecting a lot more from this book, but if you go into it looking for a good time you shouldn't go wrong.
