Honestly this book was annoying. You think it would have everything i love... but no. 
The characters were unlikeable.

Lyle was borderline intolerable. Wade sucked. Francie was frustrating. The alien? You think that would be the best part but the author decided to make them SO STUPID.  Intergalactic travelers,  doesn't know what weather is. The circle-talk of repetition with the alien. "NO! NO! NO! GO! GO! GO!" - the alien, constantly.

It was frustrating, annoying event after frustrating, annoying event.

I didn't like this book at all,  huge disappointment. 
The beginning started off strong but went downhill when the alien was introduced.
