Book two was better than book one because we get to the meat and potatoes of the story instead of just the bread.  Our protagonists know how to come and go from storyland - and know how to fill the pages of their books.  But you might be surprised at what happens when a story is completed.  And volume 2 introduces worms that grow out of a protagonist's hands and elsewhere.  I am now searching for volumes three and four to see what happens next.  I now want to know.
