Historical romance meets alien romance??

This is the genre crossover that I need in my life! We had a starchy and cynical lord, a human abducted from earth, a stuffy house party filled with peers, tons of culture clash, and the most wholesome little love story.

Milly was such an icon. Very Elle Woods energy, I can just picture her “What, like it’s hard?” answer to how she managed an HEA with one of the most unattainable nobles in the universe. And Lord Va’Rin was such an uptight cinnamon roll, loved him.

This was a reread and the first time I read it, I gave it four stars—out of what can only be called spite 😆 Because how dare my dream book be a short little novella and not a multi-book series?? But I’m better now. And with this reread, I can give this story the rating it deserves.
