Every time I think this series can’t possibly get better, Evie just decimates my soul.

I will never recover from the emotional roller this book took me on. The lore, the magic, the animal friends, the twists, the spice. It just. kept. GOING. So much character and story development, so much heartbreak and healing, so many revelations. My mind is still spinning and my life won’t hold any meaning until I get my hands on the next book. I neeed to know what happens next and I need need need more Sabine and Basten. My babies. My loves. These characters are so close to my heart, and Evie’s writing is just out of this world. 

I am so glad this series has more to come because I’m not ready for it to be over any time soon. It truly is so special and so magical.
