Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi
5.0

Re-read for third time : 25/2/14

Oh god, this book became my heart..

I just love those moments when a cover captures your eye and you pick it up, not expecting anything amazing and then you begin to read and it blows your mind away. This is what happened to me with Under The Never Sky.

I was at first a little bit confused about the world Aria lived in. Smarteyes, the Aether and the Pods were hard to take in at first but gradually everything bagan to slip into place as more explanations on everything are told by Aria.

Perry's introduction into the book was beautiful. He was like a warrior from the mist, rescuing a girl and then disappearing. There is a softness and a fragility in Perry that is so lovable, you just want to give him a hug.

Aria proved to be a strong character. At first, she appears as fragile as flower but gradually, as she adjusts to the outside, her strength and personality blossoms and you grow to love her as much as
Perry begins to

I would reccommend anyone who likes books such as The Hunger Games to read this book. It is beautiful in its relationships and its language, and I dare you to not fall in love with Roar and Perry.

Update: May I just say to all those people who think Perry's sense of smell is hilarious and stupid and go on about the way he can smell Aria's girly moments...it's not that that smells like violets. She smells like violets, it's her personal smell, something sweet and strong and wild all at the same time. And I think she starts smelling like that in the moment her body changes because she is changing and become less laboratory and unnatural and more woman, the girl she was always suppose to be. I'm not giving out to anyone, it just frustrates me when people don't seem to understand!!
