I wanted to like this book based on all the excellent reviews. However, I found the repetitive dialogue and character descriptions boring and ended up skipping over pages. While I did enjoy the sibling interactions between Vivian and her sisters, it was not enough to make up for my skimming pages. I didn't exactly buy into Vivian and Niko's relationship, so it didn't connect with me. I felt like the writing was a little too juvenile and trying too hard. Although there were some good parts about this, it was just a mediocre read for me.
